France vs Albania: Anthem mix-up in Paris at European Qualifier

Albania, the national anthem has been performed Within a embarrassing mix-up until they faced France on Saturday in a Euro 2020 Qualifier.
Players seemed bemused as they realised it was the wrong anthem – Andorra’s anthem, based on UEFA’s official site – with camera pictures showing angry Albanian fans making expressions.
France coach Didier Deschamps and Albania coach Edoardo Reja talked as Jess Gil Manzano waited a few minutes for the anthem to be played at the Stade de France.
Then, once the proper anthem was going to be performed there was another awkward incident as the stadium announcer apologised to”Armenia’s lovers” and called on fans to honor the”Armenia federal anthem” before denying his glaring mistake and saying Albania.

Deschamps provided a public apology since the game would not be started by Albania without the error within the anthem mix-up which led to a seven-minute delay.
“I apologised to the seat and the trainer,” Deschamps told a media conference.
“It’s something that shouldn’t occur, but it happened. I know the job of the Albanians and it’s logical that people waited before the Albanians would have their anthem before that match.”
France slipped into a 4-1 victory that keeps the entire world champions high in Group H on goal difference once the Euro 2020 Qualifier started.
