Something looks different about the Miami Heat this season.
I’ve got it: Norris Cole fade is even more than it was last year squared off.
Oh LeBron James isn’t on the team anymore, which delivers a blow that is decent-sized in 2014-15 to Miami’s title hopes. That the Heat are now long shots that are comparative after featuring as favorites this time a year before.
Miami has Josh McRoberts, Danny Granger and specialists Luol Deng –three offseason additions president Pat Riley would have chosen as James’ sidekicks, not replacements.
Chris Bosh will be a featured part of the crime and he will do his best to reprise the role. And Dwyane Wade will step back hoping his body holds up under the stress of responsibility.
It seems just like the Heat have sufficient ability. But if Wade misses another 28 games nursing his knees, those postseason fantasies could vanish.
